What is the difference between shutting down, hibernating, and deleting GPU instances?

Shutdown

Shutting down an instance temporarily pauses it so technical processes can occur, such as attaching or detaching volumes.

Shutdown instances continue to charge your account.

Hibernate

Hibernating an instance is a quick way to delete the instance without losing your data. All of the volumes connected to the instance will be detached and remain in your account. Detached volumes can later be attached to other instances.

The instance will no longer charge your account, but all the remaining storage volumes will continue to charge your account.

Delete

Deleting an instance removes the instance and attached volumes of your choosing. All storage volumes not marked for deletion will continue to charge your account.
